International Communications Officer

FutureDharma along with Windhorse Trust and the Order Office fund the support, office and travel costs for the International Communications Officer starting in 2023. Triratna has not had a dedicated Communications Officer since 2016 and it was recognised that the lack of an Officer who oversees and takes significant responsibility for Triratna’s communications was a structural weakness and vulnerability for Triratna.

All successful modern institutions - especially those that cross cultural and international boundaries – invest in communications to develop and maintain internal cohesion and unity as well as a positive external reputation and relations.  This applies as much - if not more - to Triratna as commercial and public institutions.

The International Communications Officer, working closely with the International Order Convenors and others will exemplify and cultivate a culture of harmonious communications, and the positive holding of difference in a fast-changing and increasingly diverse international Triratna community.
