International Movement Coordinator

The International Movement faced challenges in communication and strategic coordination between its Areas, structures, and working groups. There was a need for a dedicated role to ensure alignment, share information effectively, and support the development of the global movement.

Jnanadhara was appointed as the the International Movement Coordinator and was tasked with creating effective communication channels, overseeing the development of a global communications strategy, and collecting movement-wide data to inform decision-making.

Jnanadhara, working with the Communications Working Group and international Order Convenors, took responsibility for implementing a strategy to strengthen communication both within and between Areas. This involved establishing a digital presence on BCO, facilitating international data collection, and ensuring initiatives such as Sikkha, Safeguarding, and Future Dharma were aligned with the wider strategy.

Through this role, there has been clearer communication, improved coordination of global initiatives, and greater alignment of Triratna’s international efforts. The post has laid the groundwork for shifting responsibility for funding away from Future Dharma towards more self-sustaining movement-wide structures, helping secure long-term impact for Triratna.
