Future Dharma Team
Meet the Trustees and team of FutureDharma Fund, working together on behalf of the Public Preceptors’ College, European Chairs Assembly, International Council and International Order Office. Most of our team work part-time. This allows us to draw on their breadth of skills and experience whilst keeping our costs as low as possible.
Trustees

Paramabandhu
Chair of Trustees (College of Public Preceptors representative)
“FutureDharma is a great opportunity to strategically direct our resources. That way we can make the Dharma as widely available as possible and support deepening of its practice for the benefit of beings.”

Subhadramati
Trustee (Order representative)
“Bhante once dropped a coin into a wishing well. He was asked was he wishing for Enlightenment. Apparently he replied ‘No, that’s guaranteed with practice; I’m wishing for money because we need money to spread the Dharma’. Maybe this story is apocryphal but it still expresses something I believe and FutureDharma Fund is our boldest effort to help the Dharma flourish into the future!”

Jvalamalini
Trustee (European Chairs Assembly (Movement) representative)
“Throughout my years in Triratna I’ve seen good people struggling and limiting their vision for Dharma projects through lack of money. I believe FutureDharma Fund can change all that. We can all participate in the delight and freedom of sharing resources, whether giving or receiving, knowing more dreams can flourish to help the Dharma change lives.”

Ksantikara
Young People's Coordinator (College Trust)

Aryajaya
Trustee (Order representative)
“As a response to our international Buddhist community, Future Dharma aims to help it grow and thrive. I particularly like it’s international reach, a little can go a long way in many countries. Access to Dharma talks, funding for Dharma training, translations – the greatest gift we can give is the Dharma.”

Gunabhadri
ECA Development Team
Many new initiatives got off the ground with the help of grants from the FutureDharma Fund and wouldn’t have been possible without it. I feel honoured to be a small link in the chain of circumstance that makes these things come into being.
Team

Nandavajra
Director
“The FutureDharma Fund has the potential to become a bold and ambitious expression of Sangharakshita’s vision of ‘Transforming self, transforming world’. For all of us it is an opportunity to ask how we want to use our resources for the greatest good, and the world certainly needs dynamic and effective expressions and communication of the Dharma, which the Fund aims to enable.”

Simhasraddha
Supporter Care Manager
“We can give no greater gift to a person than the tools to allow them freedom from their conditioning. Donating to and working for FutureDharma Fund enables me personally to give this greatest gift to those who face truly challenging conditions that would otherwise prevent them from practising the Dharma. It also comforts me to know that I am contributing to the continued availability of the resources I use myself, such as FreeBuddhist Audio and the Buddhist Centre Online. Working here is a joy for me.”

Maitrinara
Gratitude & Giving Evenings Coordinator
One way of looking at the Dharma life is as a network of friendships, it is through these friendships that we mutually deepen our understanding of the Dharma and deepen our lives. FutureDharma supports our Triratna institutions to reach more people, which means creating more opportunity for friendship. I enjoy the work I do because it helps Mitras in their study groups connect with their inspiration, practice, and friendships and gives them encouragement to pass those opportunities on to others.

Danayutta
Director of Systems and Finance
“Once our basic needs are met, what all humans need most are tools and practices for the growth of our capacity for love and wisdom. The Dharma provides the clearest and most practical means of achieving our human potential.”

Anna Norbury
Communications Manager
I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work in a team of such wonderful Dharma practitioners, committed to serving the same magnificent Buddhist vision, for the benefit of all beings.

Karunatara
Head of Major Relationships

Alex Lodge
Fundraising and Communications Director
“What a privilege it is to spend my days working for the Dharma, surrounded by committed and inspiring practitioners! I have enormous gratitude for what the gift of the Dharma has done for me; for how it is uniquely presented by Bhante. It is only right that I commit the greater part of my time and energy trying to pay this gift forward. I can think of no better vehicle to do this than FutureDharma.”

Pundarika
Supporter Care Officer
Catching the Dharma at my local Centre is the greatest gift I have been given. The conditions that enabled that happening to occur were born out of the dedication and generosity of many many folk, over many many years, a lineage that goes back to the Buddha himself. My wish is to make the dharma available to as many people in the world as possible, and it’s a delight to know that my working life can contribute to this.
