“As well as everyone giving time and energy, this is going to make it possible for us all to collaborate and put in financial resources in big ways and little ways. I think it’s going to really surprise us to find what we can do when we organise ourselves in this way, and I think it’s something we’re ready to do now. It’s great to be part of it.”

“The world needs the dharma. And we have the dharma in a way that is accessible and can make a real difference in people’s lives. We need the resources to make the dharma available to more and more people. It opens up the possibility of a real culture of giving, where there’s a real flow of resources, of generosity, of putting money and energy where it’s needed to make a real difference.”

“FutureDharma is a great opportunity to strategically direct our resources. That way we can make the Dharma as widely available as possible and support deepening of its practice for the benefit of beings.”

Trustee, European Chairs Assembly

“It feels to me like the world needs the dharma, perhaps even more than it ever has done. Sangharakshita’s version of the dharma is more and more vital for the modern world. The FutureDharma Fund is trying to make sure that as a Movement, we’ve got a real response to the world for decades to come.”

Visuddhimati

Trustee, European Chairs Assembly

“The FutureDharma Fund has come out of the Chairs Meeting. We very much wanted to have a well financed, well resourced movement, and FutureDharma Fund is set-up to raise money for that to happen. It inspires me because that will create opportunities – both for existing projects and to seed new initiatives.”

Trustee, International Council

“One of the main responsibilities of the bodhisattva is to create community. I think once you’ve made that connection you want the conditions that support your own practice. The main thing that does that is relationship with other people; practising, you’re in contact with other people whose experience supports your own.”

Lokeshvara

Lokeshvara

Trustee, International Order Office

“I think what the Order can offer the world is a mythological view, if you like, or the chance to live and embody a mythic life. A life that is full of richness and poetry and the arts, embedded in the dharma. And I think that encouraging others to do this collectively is one of the wonderful gifts that we offer the world.”

FutureDharma Fund Team

“The FutureDharma Fund has the potential to become a bold and ambitious expression of Sangharakshita’s vision of ‘Transforming self, transforming world’. For all of us it is an opportunity to ask how we want to use our resources for the greatest good, and the world certainly needs dynamic and effective expressions and communication of the Dharma, which the Fund aims to enable.”

“FutureDharma fund is our new vehicle for reaching more people around the world, for helping create a greater unity amongst us, and also a greater depth of practice amongst us so that we really have something to offer the world. FutureDharma Fund is our biggest and boldest effort to take what we’ve learned and developed over our first 50 years into the next 50 years.”

Communications and Supporter Care Manager

“I gain so much from being part of Triratna – the Dharma presented in a way I can understand, a supportive movement in which to practice, and friends that challenge and support me. I see FutureDharma Fund as an opportunity to pass on some of what I’ve been given so that other people can benefit. It’s a great opportunity for us all. ”

In my work I hear many stories of people throughout the world who are in great hardship, whether socially, financially or emotionally and who desperately want to practice the Dharma but can’t. The FutureDharma Fund is our direct response to that need, providing the means for exciting Trairatna projects to be developed to pass on the Dharma and help these people flourish.
