This week the FutureDharma team sadly said farewell to Liz, our Communications Manager and Digital Fundraiser. Aside from taking a few months out, Liz has been with FutureDharma from its inception, and she has been integral to our development and success in raising funds which have allowed a great many Dharma projects to happen. Through her work, Liz has become widely know and liked across Triratna.
Liz has brought a creative flair to our communications and fundraising, often making suggestions which have enhanced our appeals and activities. She takes a real sympathetic interest in people, especially where they are practicing the Dharma in challenging circumstances, and she has movingly recounted their stories to our supporters and donors.
A key aspect of Liz’s work has been helping to manage complex online events, such as the recent Triratna Day celebrations, and she has often gone the extra mile to make sure the event runs as smoothly as possible.
She has contributed a great deal to the spirit and harmony of our team and has been courageous in communication when there have been difficulties; invariably this has resulted in a deeper harmony and friendship.
We are very grateful to Liz for her dedication and hard work and wish her every blessing in whatever comes next for her, including her stay at Dhanakosa for the coming months.
