The power of the church and other institutions make it very difficult for people to explore their spirituality in Poland. But a small and dedicated team led by Nityabandhu have built sanghas where people can learn to meditate and learn about the Dharma.
Sanghaloka, the Triratna Centre in Krakow holds regular classes, and just under 300km away in the nation’s capital, Warsaw, an outreach project holds weekly classes in a borrowed flat. The sangha has recently ordained four home-grown Order members and has many mitras. They dream of creating a Centre in Warsaw, and in time we’d love to help them do this. Currently, since the COVID restrictions in March 2020, the dedicated team have moved online, holding classes and retreats, and providing much-needed sangha for people throughout Poland.
